National Tree Week 2012
National Tree week 2012
The Tree Councils National tree week starts at the end of this month and is an ideal time to plant a tree.
Now in its 37th year, it marks the start of the winter planting season and runs from the 24th November until 2nd December. Each year, woodland charities, community groups, schools, local authorities and countless individuals across the country, roll up their sleeves and plant around 1 million trees!
Over the last four years, Trojan Tree Care have used National Tree week as an opportunity to do some charitable work by donating and planting a number of specimen trees for local charitable organisations, parish councils and schools.
This year, we are looking to donate and plant 5 specimen trees and would like to hear from similar groups or organisations in the area who wish to receive a free, professionally planted tree.
If you are interested, we would be delighted to hear from you.
